MMS 7th grade Intramural Basketball is one of our favorite seasons! Our atheletes get time on the court while developing their basic skills. There is still time to catch a game. We have games after school next Tuesday and Thursday. Go Spoofhounds!

Charles Swindoll said, "Life is 10% what happens and 90% how your react to it." Life happened at MMS today when a water main broke right outside the front of our building. We want to thank all of our MMS staff for pitching in and reacting as a team to get students fed lunch and dismissed smoothly. A special shout out to our Maintenence Director, Adam Townsend, and Strueby Plumbing and Trenching, for their quick response and repair. We are grateful for Dustin's willingness to drop things and fix the break. Thank you to our bus director, Ashley, and drivers for answering the call for an early dismissal and getting our students home safely. Finally, thank you to our parents/guardians for your understanding and support. We are happy to announce the water main has been repaired, and we will be in session on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

The Missouri Association of Secondary Principals is encouraging state legislators to visit schools before the January session begins. Today, we were fortunate to host Representative Jeff Farnan as our “Principal for the Day” at MMS. Rep. Farnan toured the school with student leaders and met with our Student Lighthouse team to discuss our school and upcoming legislation. Student voice is a core value at MMS, and we hope his visit highlighted the impact our students make every day.

MMS celebrated our 67th day of school with an underground staff dress-up day! We think we may have used six-seveeen enough that it is uncool with middle schoolers!
